German to English Translation, please help?

I found some old papers in my Grandma鈥檚 attic and she said they are written in German. They are from my Grandpa's side but she doesn鈥檛 remember what they are from. It's a little long, I hope that's alright. The paper is faded so it was hard to make out some of the letters.

It seems your grandfather was either captured (or killed?) by the Germans.



p.s. Elbentochter's (great name!) suggestion that Jnvasionge = Invasionsgeld seems very plausible.
This is a not particularly interesting list of personal effects.

There is some cash. 59 French Francs, which were damaged (beschaedigt), with a further 1000.

As the Third Reich was in its death throes in January 1945, this document is of some interest, but not much.German to English Translation, please help?
bas v did a good translation. All I can add is:

Erkm. probably means Erkennungsmerkmal (identifying feature)

and

Jnva sionsge probably means Invasionsgeld (money from or for the Invasion) and refers to the 1000 ffrc.
i would suggest you take paper/s to your local library-main one.

get a librarian to help you!
