thanksGerman to english translation required :)?
It means "original (in the sense of: the oldest, the first ones, the ones from which all the other forms were made of) forms of art."
according to my mac

"Prototypes of (the) Art"German to english translation required :)?
Unique Forms of Art.
"Formen der Kunst" would be "Types/Shapes/Forms of art".

The prefix Ur- refers to an earlier or original generation, similar to "great" in "great-grandfather". Now add these two together and you get something like "Original types of art" or "Prototypes of art".German to english translation required :)?
maybe primordial forms of art.

ur=antique, prehistoric etc.
"Urformen der Kunst" (The original art)
