I like free www.freetranslation.com it is pretty accurate in spanish. I keep it in my favorites. I think they have german on there too.

All the free translation programmes will only give literal word for word translations, to have a full translations you'll have to pay for it.

Try the old-fashioned dictionaries and thesaurus. It never failed me in any language.
The problem with internet sites, they cannot process the exact content you want to translate, they can only do it word-for-word, therefore without making sense.
