German to English translation please? (Two lines)?

I'm reading Jane Eyre and sometimes they switch to random paragraphs of another language, like French of German. x]



Can someone please translate these two German sentences to English for me?



1) Da trat hervor Einer, anzusehen wie die Sternen Nacht.

2) Ich wage die Gedanken in der Schale meines Zornes und die Werke mit dem Gewichte meines Grimms.



And here is the whole paragraph:

"'Da trat hervor Einer, anzusehen wie die Sternen Nacht.' Good! good!" she exclaimed, while her dark and deep eye sparkled. "There you have a dim and mighty archangel fitly set before you! The line is worth a hundred pages of fustian. 'Ich wage die Gedanken in der Schale meines Zornes und die Werke mit dem Gewichte meines Grimms.' I like it!"German to English translation please? Because of the incorrect grammar it is of course hardly to understand.

Sternennacht is a single word and only a clear night where you can see the stars. The other reason of difficult understanding is: the word order is not correct because the words are changed in the sentense probably to write a poem of it, and the people of the dialog are quoting this poem.

And at last: it must be quoted wrong.

Ich WAGE die Gedanken, that makes absolutly no sense. Let's try with w?gen.



Somebody stepped forward looking like the night of stars.

I scale the thoughts in the bowl (bassin) of my anger (rage) and the works with the weight of my fierceness.



I see not any difference between Zorn and Grimm. Just two different words.

Figuritive - I challenged the thoughts of the husk of my wrath and the ordeals of the severity of my ferocity.



Poetically - I am the husk and my soul is the wrath. I dared myself to stand courageously with thoughts of revenge and memories of the past and my great tribulations.

I don't know the first sentence, but here's the second, I think:



"I dared to think of these thoughts in the deepest parts of my anger and these works weigh heavily on my fury."
