Exact English to German Translation?

I would like to know what the exact translation for these phrases:



"my sisters are my heart"



"my sisters make up the pieces of my heart"



My sisters and I are getting it tattooed on us in German, and I feel silly using an online translation tool.. so PLEASE only respond if you studied German or are a native German speaker. I know those translation tools are not accurate 100% of the time and I just don't want to get the phrase wrong, and then have it on my body for life and ne'er be the wiser.

"my sisters are my heart"
would translate to:
"Meine Schwestern sind mein Herz" but that sounds strange in German.
better use something like:
"Mein Herz geh枚rt meinen Schwestern" (my heart belongs to my sisters)

"my sisters make up the pieces of my heart"
would translate to (not literal, since that again would sound very strange, but the sense is transported):
"Meine Schwestern sind Teil meines Herzens"
My sisters are my heart.

Meine Schwestern sind die Teile meines Herzens. .. are the parts of my heart ..

Meine Schwestern bilden die Partitionierung meines Herzens. Is the one that pretty exactly translates the mathematical meaning of "making up the pieces".

All translations of these two sentences that I can imagine, including those above, sound absolutely retarded in german.

I`m german but I find it hard to give a useful translation. In no way you can make a word by word translation. So it`s not : "Meine Schwestern sind mein Herz". In plural that doesn`t sound so good in german. It`s not completly wrong but as a german I wouldn`t say so.

Maybe "Meine Schwestern sind in meinem Herzen" = my sisters are in my heart.

But I guess that is not excatly what you wanted to say. Maybe you can use an other sentence, or someone else can help you better than I can.
