Help with German-English translation of a Brahms art-song: what does "das deine" refer to?

In Brahms' "Dein blaues Auge", the second verse goes like this:

Es brannte mich ein gl眉hend Paar,

Noch schmerzt, noch schmerzt das Nachgef眉hl:

Das deine ist wie See so klar

Und wie ein See so k眉hl.

Does "das deine" (yours) refer to the pair of eyes, or to "nachgef眉hl"?

What does Nachgef眉hl mean here?

I've looked up and done a translation of the song, but I'm not confident enough about it.Help with German-English translation of a Brahms art-song: what does "das deine" refer to?
it most certainly refers to the pair of eyes... but if one absolutely wanted it to refer to lingering feeling it would be difficult to persuade him otherwise... it is the grammatical ambiguity of the sentence... only the semantics will point clearly to the pair of eyes... it just wouldn t make much sense otherwise...so be confident !Help with German-English translation of a Brahms art-song: what does "das deine" refer to?
Thank you:)
