Latin to English/German Translation?

Could anyone (with a Degree in Latin or being a Latin professor) please translate this small text from Kaan's ''Psychopathia sexualis'':



''Concinnavi opusculum lingua latina; quia antea quam utilitas et bonitas rei probata sit, rem tam lubricam in vulgus dispergere nimis periculoscum duco, ideoque in usum eruditorum scribere malo.''



If you can do German, that would be perfect but English is perfectly fine, as well as French or Spanish or Italian.
