And, does it make sense?
I know a small portion of German, and I'm trying to translate a phrase as accurately as possible.
I'm trying to translate "Heart and soul unparalyzed. All you did was save my life"
So I tried to switch around the words a bit because unparalyzed I don't think is even a word. And in german the word "All" translates literally, so it turns into something like "everything"
So I switched the words around into this "Heart and soul active again. The only thing you did was rescue my life"GERMAN-ENGLISH TRANSLATION "Herz und Seele wieder aktiv. Das Einzige, was Sie taten, war rettung mein Leben."?
I answered this on your other post.GERMAN-ENGLISH TRANSLATION "Herz und Seele wieder aktiv. Das Einzige, was Sie taten, war rettung mein Leben."?
I'm not a native German speaker, but I can see that the German itself isn't correct, which doesn't help! ... "war rettung mein Leben" is just impossible.
EDIT to add: no, "war mein Leben bewahrt" won't do either. The structure can't work that way.
Actually I think I must have misunderstood from the beginning: I thought you were trying to translate the German text into English, but now it seems you wrote the German text - so I'm confused!
