My husband and I are getting our wedding bands engraved with the saying "my love, my life" in different languages. Mine will be in Spanish because that is my husband's first language. His will be in German because my family is of German decent. I took German in high school, but I don't know if I have the translation right. I have "meine Liebe, mein Leben." Is that correct or do I have the article wrong if I'm speaking about my husband?I need help with a German to English translation: my love, my life?
Yes, that is correct. :)
But, if you mean "My love" as in "My darling", it would be better to use "Mein Liebling"
Congrats, and good luck!I need help with a German to English translation: my love, my life?
Kasper's right...your translation is good, but could be better if you mean, "my darling." Congratulations! :)I need help with a German to English translation: my love, my life?
