German - English translation needed. Can anyone tell me what this says?

http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/2839/鈥?/a>

I found this in a rather old German book (Copyright 1944). It's a sticker type thing. What would this be used on?

Sorry about the horrible quality picture.

Thank you!German - English translation needed. Can anyone tell me what this says?
Caution!

Before uncoupling lower the rear rest

I'd assume it's used on a trailer. Reminds you that you shouldn't forget to lower the rear legs/rests before you unhook it from the car.

From the style of the sticker I'd say, it's much newer than your book. Doesn't look like 1944 more like 2004.

And there is one slight spelling mistake (Stutze instead of St眉tze), which is common if you don't have Umlauts on the keyboard. So perhaps the sticker wasn't made in Germany.
I checked it out on www.freetranslation.com and it doesn't translate well. Good luck and I'll keep checking back 'cause now I'm curious!German - English translation needed. Can anyone tell me what this says?
it is a sign for truck drivers saying what to do before disconnecting
It's a warning to keep out, i think. Explosions.German - English translation needed. Can anyone tell me what this says?
roughly translated it means---

Attention

To uncouple the rear axel, lower the lynch pin.

Sounds like something from aircraft or automotive repair shop...
