How can I get a free or low-cost German-English translation softwarwe I can use OFF-line? I have only one phone line, and am retired (no salary, fixed budget).Any German-English translation software I can use OFF-line?
Not a software though, just buy a German - English dictionary
I HAVE a good dictionary! And a grammar book. Not a good answer. It is impractical to translate documents, newspaper articles, etc. word by word. What is needed is a program that can translate off-line, many senmtences and paragraphs at a time, keeping the sense of the content.

I use that website all the time to translate things for me, I hope it helps you.
Go to http://www.german-english-translator.com鈥?/a> and scroll down to "Dictionaries". Click "..available HERE for free download.." and then you have a good dictionary to work offline with. :)Any German-English translation software I can use OFF-line?
